Born and raised in Jasper, Tennessee, an athlete, and a self-admitted tomboy, Sammi Moore didn't always know she wanted to be a singer; it was more of a subtle recognition of what she was supposed to do.

Growing up in a family full of singers, Sammi initially chose basketball to focus on rather than music. But after singing for the first time at a state scholarship pageant, she fell in love with it and there was no turning back.

Now, a six-year Nashville resident with countless shows and sessions under her belt, Moore is taking her career to the next level. Sammi just finished up her current project with hit producer Joe Scaife who has worked with the likes of Gretchen Wilson, Hank Jr., Montgomery Gentry, Billy Ray Cyrus and The Kentucky Headhunters just to name a few.

Signed to Studio 33 Music Publishing and a co-writer on all of her songs, Moore draws on her 23 years of life for inspiration. "If I'm hurting because something bad happens, I always turn to music and I feel better." And, she's been able to work with some of the best while creating her “in your face” southern rock influenced sound.

Moore plays more than 60 shows a year, touring the southeast with her band of more than five years as well as doing many writer’s nights along the way. She has played everywhere from bars to biker rallies, festivals to national championships and has headlined for some of the best along the way, including The Marshall Tucker Band, Chris Cagle, Big and Rich, James Otto, Craig Morgan, David Allen Coe, John Michael Montgomery, Exile, and the Kentucky Headhunters.

Because she pours her soul into each song, a Sammi Moore show is an unmatched experience as each performance exudes her true passion for music. "You won’t see me standing around and acting, it’s real and it’s raw just like my songwriting. I wouldn’t have it any other way.” Her talent — her raw, natural ability to send shivers with her soulful voice — will take her the distance. “If ever I have a moment of doubt," she says, "something happens to show me that this is right, that this is right where I am meant to be."
